Habe nun, ach! Philosophie, Goethe: Faust, Teil I, Szene 1 ... and even if you didn't study law, you may be affected by it - or better to say: you are not may (may would mean you could choose whether you want to or not). If you live in Germany (and only in this case it is relevant for you to know this page [and the German law]) you should realize that there are many many laws you don't know off but which maybe relevant for your doing or not-doing. Living in Germany means living in a country making and having the most laws in the whole world. No other country makes a law for every tiny mostly really odd possibilities and situations you mostly never would dream off. German lawyers and the legislative organs even try to regulate every tiny bit on the internet ... with national law! Could you believe that? We call that in Germany the Rechtsstaat - the english speaking world knows that term as "state founded on the rule of law" - or better to say: my dictionary says that you do so. Don't you have a shorter term for that? Another question: Do you know what I mean? Living in a - well, such a thing? I bet you're wrong. Living in a state founded on the rule of law means that the law (written down usally) provides the relationship between individual rights and duties and the governmental rights and duties and the rights and duties between the individuals.
